First part of a new project from Upwellings for ZeECc, 'Snow Motion' is the opening of a new minimal dub experience. In the line of 'Escape Plan' and 'Loose EP' produced last year for Klique, this french artist proposes you a combination of new tracks and remixes. This time, two tracks from his first forthcoming album 'Walk' and 'Ice Dub' are revisited by two major artists of the dub-techno scene. Optic_ comes from Denmark, a well-known place for this kind of sounds, and makes here a warm version of this track. Ohrwert is the composer of the enigmatic series on Reduct, and of several tracks for Silent Season, Millions Of Moments or Ornithopter. He comes here with an uncluttered sound and mix, exactly entitled 'Kingston's Cut'.
The four other tracks of this release go all in other directions, but keep the same goal, to deliver strong and intelligent music. Sometimes very minimal on 'Health', heavy on 'Snow Motion, just dub on 'Breathe' or hypnotic on 'Seek', this first volume indicates other intense and radiant pieces of art in a near future.
